PM Carney Bans Imports From the So-Called “West Bank”

The concept of, “If you tell a lie often enough people will believe it” was made popular in Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” We witness this “creative handling” of the truth when political desire crashes headfirst into an inconvenient truth. Ron Gray confronts some of the truths and falsehoods with regards to Israel.

The Allison Inquiry—Hearing From the Vaccine-Injured

As a nation, we faced the covid years with the daily death toll announcements keeping us securely in line with doing what was required by our government. We trusted our government to promote the long-term common good of Canadians. Did they? In an effort to do something, our government set aside safeguards that had been put in place. The resulting death toll was a real tragedy.

The Foundation Matters!

A look at increasingly fractured political coalitions in Canada reminds us of the importance of foundations. Whether a house is built on sand or the house is built on rocks, the foundation matters to whether or not the structure can be held together. It is time to support those political institutions where the biblical foundation is the foundation.

Is Suicide Prevention Still the Goal?

Since the beginning of human history, decent folks have lamented the tragedy of suicide. We still do. When one of our citizens takes his or her own life, we recognize this as a failure of our society to encourage and uplift every individual who may be vulnerable to the temptation to “end it all.”

Back to School

Was there ever a better commercial than the one advertising “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”? The celebratory music rings out as the parent joyfully traverses the aisles of the store preparing for Back to School. The children, somber, trudge behind with their faces a huge contrast to their joyful parent.

Trade Talks Fail: Let’s Trade Leaders!

Prime Minister Carney has again failed Canadians, and once again—with the help of taxpayer funded CBC—he’s working hard to enrage Canadians and to blame US President Donald J. Trump for his failures. Canada went into trade negotiations with the US and came up short. Now Mr. Carney wants credit for “standing up for Canadians” and for “walking away from a bad deal.”

Political Chameleons 2026

In the past six months, we’ve seen a number of shape-shifting defections of MPs from the Conservative Party of Canada. In some cases, the newly-minted Liberal MPs have begun expressing entirely different views then those they claimed were their deeply-held convictions only a short time before. We’re seeing the same thing happening in British Columbia...

Both Can’t Be True!

Some things in life are mutually exclusive. Logic tells us that the same statement cannot be both mutually exclusive and mutually inclusive. However, that may be one of the contradictory statements that our current Prime Minister wants us to believe. In recent news, Mr. Carney has been criticized for mutually contradictory statements he has made...

What’s the Solution?

Smokey the Bear is wrong in stating that “Only you can prevent forest fires.” Many fires in our forested areas are the result of lightening strikes; we must have the resources available to combat these also. We can reduce our impact through such things as not throwing cigarettes out the car window and not being careless with fires in a high fire zone. But, in a country that is 40% forest, we must be proactive and ensure that we are well invested in forest fire management, wisdom and equipment.

Ethics or Aesthetics?

Was the Parliamentary Ethics Committee created to ensure elected politicians and the federal government conduct their business in a morally ethical manner? Or was it created simply to cover their blemishes and hide their indiscretions so that the government looks better? I’m sure you agree that ethical behaviour was the goal. Apparently, the Liberal members of the Ethics Committee didn’t get the memo.
